Jeff Clark is Chairman of the Board for Pellucere. He is a Managing Partner at Energy Innovation Capital Partners. Jeff has more than 25 years of experience as a management consultant focused on business strategy and financial analytics to support the creation of client shareholder value within the energy, utility, wireless and technology industries. He was the founding partner and served as the CEO of Veracity Innovation. Jeff holds an MBA with a Specialization in Finance with Honors from The University of Chicago, Booth GSB and a B.A. in Economics with Distinction and Phi Beta Kappa from Whitman College.
Founder / Director
Dr. Chih-Hung (Alex) Chang is the founder of CSD Nano and Director at Pellucere. He is a Professor at the School of Chemical, Biological, and Environmental Engineering, Oregon State University. He is a SHARP Labs of America scholar, an Intel Faculty Fellow, and a recipient of AVS Graduate Research award, National Science Foundation's CAREER award, and awardee of W.M. Keck Foundation. He has more than 90 refereed publications, 10 issued patents, and 3 pending patents. He holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Florida.
Chief Executive Officer
Bob Lukefahr is the CEO for Pellucere. He has served as CEO for several growth stage companies including ConXtech, Tessera Solar, Nat G CNG Solutions, and as President of BP’s Wind Energy and North American Power business unit. Bob has more than 25 years in senior strategy and executive roles in the energy industry. He earned his MBA at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and his A.B. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Chief Technology Officer
Paul Ahrens joined the company in 2011 and currently serves as its CTO. Paul’s previous roles have included VP, Engineering & Technology and CEO at Synthetech, a successful fine chemical company, a significant part of his over 40 years' experience in the chemical industry. Paul is an inventor, a patent-holder and holds a BSc and MSc in Chemical Engineering from MIT
Chief Financial Officer
Jim is the CFO for Pellucere. He has served as the CFO for several start-up companies, helping two businesses grow to $100 million in revenues and successful exit strategies. He spent over 10 years with Big 4 accounting firms and graduated from Oklahoma State University with an BS in Accounting.
Chief Operating Officer
John de Vos is Pellucere’s COO. He has over 29 years experience in several high tech industries in various engineering, management and business development roles. John has degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science, Masters of Business Administration, and certificates in Computer Science and Project Management. His experience covers multiple product development life cycles ranging from the early research and development stages, to design and product manufacturing, and through long term reliability testing and field failure analysis. John holds 21 patents across wide ranging subject matters.
Klaus-Peter is based in Germany and serves as Senior Vice President for Europe, Middle East, and North Africa for the MoreSun® product line. He has more than 30 years experience structuring and leading international service organizations in several industries. For the last 10 years, Peter worked in the international solar industry, where he developed and implemented international service structures and executed business development for one of the world's largest manufacturers of thin-film modules and two of the leading O&M and service providers. Peter holds an advanced Engineering degree in Heat and Energy Technology from Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen and a Bachelors degree in Process Engineering from Staatliche Techniker Schule Weilburg.
Dr. Seung-Yeol Han is Chief Scientist for Pellucere and inventor of the MoreSun ARC product. Prior to joining the company, Dr. Han was a professional research associate and scholar at Oregon State University. He is an expert in the synthesis and deposition of nano-thin films for photovoltaic cells and other substrates. Dr. Han is a prolific author of technical papers, a multiple patent holder and holds a PhD from OSU in Chemical Engineering.
Marc Van Patten serves as Senior Vice President for the MoreSun® product line in the Americas. He has led the development efforts for several major independent power producers over the last 25 years, including Tenaska, MidAmerican Energy Holdings, Calpine, AES Solar and SunEdison, among others. He has led development projects nationally and internationally for several of these companies, responsible for all aspects of project development. Over the last ten years, Marc has worked in the solar power industry, working on the development of more than 1,300 MW of solar projects, with a majority of them in operation and the remainder in advanced development. Marc has a BS from Iowa State University, with a major in Civil Engineering. He also studied business at the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
